All letters should include the following :
-an appropriate greeting – e.g Dear Sir/ Madam, Dear Tom/ Aunt Sarah, Dear Mr. Popescu, Dear Mum  etc ;
-an introduction in which you write your opening remarks – e.g. Hi !How are you ?/ How are things ? and reason(s) for writing – e.g. I am just writing to congratulate you on passing your exams, I am writing to apologise for...We were happy to hear that..., I was sorry to hear...etc. ;
-a main body in which you write about the specific topics of the letter in detail ;
-a conclusion in which you write your closing remarks – e.g. Looking forward to seeing you, Please write soon, Take care!, Can't wait to hear from you, That 's all for now ;
-an appropriate ending – e.g. Yours, Love, Lots of love, Best wishes, Best regards, and your first name ; Yours faithfully and your full name.
Make sure that your letter:
-is relevant and focused on the task set ;
-uses the vocabulary and structure appropriate for a formal/informal letter ;
-is well-organised and paragraphed ;
-has no grammar or spelling mistakes.

Dialogues usually present spoken language within a context. Write a dialogue and use grammar structures ( e.g. possessive adjectives/ pronouns, object pronouns, demonstrative pronouns / adjectives, plurals, gender of nouns, articles, numerals, adjective placement, prepositions, tenses, modal verbs, question forms etc), vocabulary in specific subject areas to illustrate degrees of politeness, levels of formality, values, attitudes of the target culture, practice speech patterns etc.

*Write a 60/80 word descriptive essay, a 80 /100 word narrative essay or a 100 /120 word discursive essay ( e.g. "For and Against"essays in which you discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a specific topic, Opinion essays in which you present your personal opinion on a particular topic). A topic like A funny incident in your family belongs to the second category. Describe the hero of a film you have seen or a person you admire belongs to the first category while Cycling as a means of transport or The most interesting or boring things for me belongs to the third one.
Whenever you start writing a composition :
-focus on the central theme ;
-think before putting pen to paper, try to visualize the scene, person or thing which you are going to write about ;
-join up all the points by suitable linking words or phrases ;
-try building a new paragraph for each new point ;
-mind the verb tenses ( most compositions are based on Past Tense ) ;
-when you have finished, check it over carefully for mistakes in grammar and spelling
Any composition must respect the three fundamental parts :
-Introduction : one paragraph announcing the theme in a succint way, catching the reader's eye to a clear purpose ;
-Main Body / Development : two , three or four paragraphs, developing the theme to the full from different angles ;
-Conclusion : one paragraph to round it off like a neat, graceful summary, if possible with a "catchy" finish.

The essential features of any kind of composition are :
-Unity ;
-Coherence ;
-Emphasis ;
-Harmony
This means that the beginning will arouse the interest of a reader, the body will captivate the reader's attention while its ending will give the reader a feeling of satisfaction.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT !
Best of luck !
